Richard Travers offers a rare combination of skills – as a trial lawyer, as an academic, and as an adviser on disputes.

As a trial lawyer, he has more than 30 years of courtroom practice at the highest level, running large scale commercial litigation in the fields of trade practices, product liability, medical error and administrative law.

As an academic, he has taught administrative law at the Law School of the University of New South Wales. Holding a PhD in history, he has written books of Australian military and art history during the first half of the 20th century.

As an adviser, he has a proven track record, based on thorough research. Giving detailed, written advice, he  analyses the strengths and weaknesses on both sides of a dispute, forecasts the likely outcome, and suggests how best and most quickly to resolve it.

His goal is to help clients resolve disputes on fair terms, quickly and at reasonable cost.
